Education

Education is a big deal all over the world and there are similarities and diferences in education in each country but the countries that is been focused on are UK and Nigeria.

Here are the similarites between the educational system in UK and Nigeria.

They both operate on  a strictly proper british english and this is what is been use to teach and its expected for the student to use in is everyday life.

Another similarite is the fact that they both have a particular age when you begin a section in school, from age 5-11 is the primary school, 11-16 is the secondary and 16 and above is the university this are the approved age for a student to begin school and when they are expected to finish.

They also have the same name of the stages of schools, primary school, seondary school and the university,
This are the stages of school the UK and Nigeria operate

There are also the difference between this two countries educational system and each of this differences are from the similarites.

In the UK a child is meant to begin to at the age of 5 by then the child wil be ready and matured to handle what is been thought in class, But in Nigeria a child can begin school as early as possible like a child can begin school at the age of 1.

Another aspect of in the differences is that free education is offered to children at the age of 5  and  16, while in Nigeria there is no free eduation the child fee must be paid before he begins school.

In addition, a child must be 11 in the UK to enter secondary school and must be 18 to enter university if a child is not around this age the child will not be accepted to any UK school, while in Nigeria a child and enter secondary school at the ages of 9 and in university at the age of 16 all that matters is that you are passing your classes to get promoted to the next class.

In conclusion, there are some huge similarites and differences between UK and Nigeria education and the counries also have the own special thing in there educational system.

Britian and the four Nations

The Great Britain commonly know as the United Kingdom is a sovereign state which is a located of the northern western coast of Europe.
The Great Britain form of government is a Constitutional Monarchy with a parliamentary system. The capital of this great nation is London. The Great Britain consist of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Each of this countries also have a capital, England is London , Wales is Cardiff, Scotland is Edinburg and Ireland is Belfast.

The United Kingdom have a flag which hold the four nations has a Kingdom But each of this nations have a Flag which represent something, The English Flag is a white background and a Red Cross on it and this Red Cross is of St George. The Welsh flag is a white and green background and a dragon in-between the Dragon has been used in Wales for centuries to symbolize the spirit of the Welsh people in the face of the endless attack from the English. The Scottish Flag is a blue background and a white X in the blue represents vigilance, truth, and loyalty, perseverance and justice, while the white X signify peace and honesty. The Irish flag is another flag which show three sections of color green white and orange, each if this color represent something. The green color represent the Catholic, Nationalist and Republican communities and the white stands for hope and unity between the Irish while the orange represent the Protestant, Union, and Loyalist community. This are the Flags of the four nation and each of the flags comes with a represent something.

The United Kingdom maybe be one Nation but this countries in that nation have different cultures and languages, the general language spoken in the nation is English but there native language are English, Brythonic and Gaelic , the English speak English, the Welsh speak Brythonic and but the Scottish and Irish speak Gaelic. The culture of the English is called the idiosyncratic cultural norm of England. Because of the English dominant position within Great Britain in terms of population. The English culture is often quite different and difficult from the United Kingdom and the patriot saint of England was St George who emblem is on the flag of England. The Welsh have a distinctive culture including its own language, custom, holidays and music. The patriot saint of wales is St David and this is a day which the Welsh celebrate the saint and this day occurs in the 1 of March. The patriot saint of Scotland is St Andrew and this man emblem is on the country flag which is the X on it and this man is honored every November 30.The final Saint is St Patrick of the Irish St Patrick it is said that St Patrick was a Christian missionary to  Ireland, he was an active missionary to the Irish in the fifth century and this man is honoured every March 17. This are the saint of The United Kingdom and this Saint are been honored because of the huge role they have played in each of this countries.

The Great Britain carrys a whole alot of history in it and this Nation is a tourist atraction with place like the Buckingham palace, Cardiff castle,Barryscourt castle and the Burnnock battlefield this place carry a whole lot of history an each of this countries, The leading tourist atraction is the Buckingham palace which is the home to Queen Elizabeth, the palace became the royal residence during the accession of Queen Victoria and the palace can be found in England London. Wales also Cardiff Castle is one of Wales' leading heritage attractions and a site of international significance. During 2000 years of history, the Castle has been a Roman Garrison, a Norman stronghold and in Victorian times was transformed into a gothic fairytale fantasy.
