Education

Education is a big deal all over the world and there are similarities and diferences in education in each country but the countries that is been focused on are UK and Nigeria.

Here are the similarites between the educational system in UK and Nigeria.

They both operate on  a strictly proper british english and this is what is been use to teach and its expected for the student to use in is everyday life.

Another similarite is the fact that they both have a particular age when you begin a section in school, from age 5-11 is the primary school, 11-16 is the secondary and 16 and above is the university this are the approved age for a student to begin school and when they are expected to finish.

They also have the same name of the stages of schools, primary school, seondary school and the university,
This are the stages of school the UK and Nigeria operate

There are also the difference between this two countries educational system and each of this differences are from the similarites.

In the UK a child is meant to begin to at the age of 5 by then the child wil be ready and matured to handle what is been thought in class, But in Nigeria a child can begin school as early as possible like a child can begin school at the age of 1.

Another aspect of in the differences is that free education is offered to children at the age of 5  and  16, while in Nigeria there is no free eduation the child fee must be paid before he begins school.

In addition, a child must be 11 in the UK to enter secondary school and must be 18 to enter university if a child is not around this age the child will not be accepted to any UK school, while in Nigeria a child and enter secondary school at the ages of 9 and in university at the age of 16 all that matters is that you are passing your classes to get promoted to the next class.

In conclusion, there are some huge similarites and differences between UK and Nigeria education and the counries also have the own special thing in there educational system.
